Project:
Moody's
Scope:
550
Brief:
Tsunami undertook two major projects for Moodys. On both the client wanted to move away from an American-style panel-based system to a more open-plan environment that allowed for both more communication but delivered privacy when required by some members of the team. The system needed to be able to be added to to allow for a 50% increase in density. Around the periphery of the floorplate cellular offices were planned but had to be designed to allow light penetration into the centre. Also, needed a flexible training room that one person could reconfigure without tools.
Furniture:
Abak Environments desking, Mirra chairs, GSS storage, Workwall, partitioning, Kusch + Co, bespoke conference table, loose furniture from various suppliers
Solutions and TA added value:
The Abak Environments system offered the flexibility required. It also allowed for a partitioning system with a stacker that gave the various heights required. The partitioning was designed to allow for maximum light to enter the interior of the floorplate. Solutions were found for the conference and training rooms that fulfilled all the requirements, including a lightweight meeting table that offered ultimate flexibility and reconfigurability.
